Verbal Update

I can't believe I haven't updated in a while! Oh well, we're in the midst of having our front foyer, stair and hallway trim painted WHITE...much needed. So, we have painters here this week. I can't wait until it's finished, it'll brighten up an area of the house that gets very little light. No more dark trim and doors. Yippee.

Other news...I was asked to be the Cultural Arts Chairperson for the school and I accepted on Monday. I will be in charge of selecting and recommending artists and programs for the school assemblies. I'm very excited about the position and honored that they thought to choose me. Gianna is already putting her 2 cents in. She likes the puppets.

Last night was the OES installation. I was reinstalled as Adah, a lot of pomp and very little circumstance.

Today is a half day for the school and Gianna was just invited by a friend to go to Plimoth Plantation. So, we are off to see the pilgrims. Hopefully, I can get some photos to post on the blog.

Last week, I attended the FFHSA auction and dinner with friends. The auction raised over $7,000 for the school. It was fun. I was the photographer for the evening, can you believe it? I just submitted the photos to the local paper for publication. If they are published I'll link it on the blog so you can see my work. I found out, it is harder than it sounds! People hate having their picture taken.

Angelina had her first competition on Sunday and they won a gold medal. She is very excited about these competitions and says she wants to continue on with dance. Personally, they are very long....we sit for hours for a two minute routine. ugh.
